In collaboration with the state of the art Culinary Literacy Center at the Free Library of Philadelphia, we bring you this hands-on cooking (and tasting) class to teach you everyday cooking techniques and ingredient swaps that will significantly boost your heart health. Taught by our very own Registered Dietitian Lindsey Kane and one of the city’s leading cardiologists, you will have access to two experts who can answer your questions. You will also leave with a recipe book so you can practice at home.
Ideal for those with a family history or personal history of heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes as well as anyone with a general interest in improving their health.
